*Ferrets make great pets. Two is always twice the fun of one. They are social and love both companionship of other ferrets as well as their owners. They have a very comical personality much like a kitten that never grows up.

Hairless Pets
A Great Idea for the Child With Allergies

*Hairless Rats

*Hairless pets do best on a bedding of carefresh as it is gentle on their sensitive skin.
*Hairless pets also require more water then your average haired animal of the same species due to the lack of hair
*Hairless animals need to be kept free of drafts and should ideally be housed in an enclosed cage.
*Cages, tanks, chew blocks, treats, supplements, carefresh bedding, and exercise equipment are in stock.

Chinchillas:
*Always a beautiful selection of chinchillas
*Many colors to choose from(standard grey, black, white and beige)
*Full line of Supplies for chinchillas which includes food, hay, treats, cage kits, wood and lava chews, dust, dust houses and everything you would need to keep your little gremlin happy!
*Chinchillas are an inquistive animal that enjoy lots of playroom. They don't appreciate being cuddled but do love interaction with their owners. Not a good pet for small children.

*REMEMBER CHINCHILLAS CANNOT TOLERATE WARM TEMPERATURES.ANY AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OVER 75 DEGREES[C] CAN CAUSE HEAT STROKE IN CHINCHILLAS.CLIMATE CONTROL IS A MUST FOR A HEALTHY, HAPPY CHINCHILLA.

Sugargliders:
*Sugargliders are NOT a pet for someone who wants an animal that will make an "Easy Pet".
*Sugargliders have a highly specialized diet and must have meals freshly prepared to remain healthy.
*Young Sugargliders make the best pets as it takes time for a sugarglider to trust and bond with their special person.
*Sugargliders are nocturnal making them great pets for the person who works during the day and has time to spend with their pet in the evening.
*Sugargliders do live in colonies in the wild and appreciate the companionship of other gliders.
*Gliders fed incorrectly develop metabolic bone disease therefore gliders are not recommended as a pet for children.
*Baby gliders can be reserved in advance.
*Cages, pouch houses, supplements, and other supplies available.

Degus:
*Adult degu pairs and babies available.
*Degus are colony dwellers and do best when sold in pairs or groups. They are friendly and inquistive.
*Also known as the chinchilla rat-as they share the same dwellings as chinchillas in the wild.
*Active in the daytime-degus would remind you of a mix between a ground squirrel and a guinea pig.
*Degus require care similiar to that of other rodents.
*Degus will eat a mix of chinchilla pellets and rodent diet. They will need hay, chewing sticks, a dust house, and housing with hiding spots and ledges.

Chinese Dwarf Hamsters:
*Chinese Dwarf Hamsters are now available. Unlike the Russian dwarf hamsters the chinese dwarfs have very gentle disposition making them an excellent starter pet.
*Unlike normal syrian(short-hair or teddy bear) hamsters, the dwarf hamsters should be housed in a fish aquarium or enclosure that is escape proof. Cages with bars are not suitable.
*The care of a dwarf hamster is the same as the syrian hamsters; requiring rodent diet, water, chewing blocks and treats, and exercise equipment.
*Dwarf hamsters are nocturnal-being active in the evening and at night.
*The dwarf hamsters are considered an exotic species in the state of New Jersey and do require a permit unlike the syrian hamsters(short hairs or teddy bears).
